Back together with exboyfriend but said too much
Me and my ex-boyfriend are giving our relationship another chance... well, I am giving him a chance after his apologies. We'll see how it goes... but anyway...
I now REGRET telling my GOOD friends and even my mom (!) about the troubles we had... I only told them about it towards the end and after we broke up... now nothing like he cheated or abused me or anything like that. He got very sick and pushed me away, and then when we broke up he kept texting/calling me, often at late hours, saying he regretted his actions/was sorry. Everyone said things like "you don't want to date someone like that... he's acting weird by calling you at late hours like that/he sounds unstable/lock you doors, basically calling him an unstable psycho (I was NEVER afraid of him, this is from a girl who had never met him)... he's controlling/a loser (again from a girlfriend who never met him)... I fear I talked too much about what I should have kept private, but at the same time I needed guidance. I should have just talked to a therapist and kept it private. I learned my lesson, but what should I do now? I haven't told my friends or mom I'm seeing him (I'm 26). Well, I told my roommate and she didn't flip out at me. My mom didn't think he was good enough for me, so I doubt she'd be happy, but this is my life. I just fear what my close girlfriends would think... and if we ended up together and they met him, how would they act knowing everything I said. :'(
Ex-boyfriend, 2nd chance, dating website
I'm giving my ex a 2nd chance after a weird period of him pulling away from me because he was very sick (he didn't do anything like cheating or abuse). We were apart for about a month before giving it another go. His Facebook shows he was on dating website during that time. Now he says he wants to hang out with me and see how things go. He's been very affectionate towards me, calls me often, etc... but that dating website gives me a sick feeling in my stomach. I plan to ask him about it tonight. My trust is wavering because of this.
