If the CEL comes on and goes off after two seconds, when the ignition switch is turned to ON (Position II), then the problem is with the distributor. My guess is that the igniter and coil are fine (assuming they are new), but the distributor housing is bad. My bet is that you are not using a genuine Honda distributor housing. Over 50% of new aftermarket distributors for Hondas don't work at AMHD.

The main distributor body--it excludes the igniter, rotor, coil, and distributor cap. Your problem is likely with the internal distributor sensors (CKP, TDC, and CYP), which are not serviceable.
Could it possibly happen to be the crank or cam sensor ? And if so where would they be located ? And would those sensors in the distributor be bad in a brand new on ? I really appreciate you helping.
Yes, the crankshaft position sensor (CKP), cylinder position sensor (CYP), and top dead center (TDC) are located inside the distributor. Again, they cannot be repaired.
My advice is to buy a new genuine Honda distributor housing and install your new aftermarket igniter and coil in it. That should solve your problem.
Well first I will try the igniter and if that doesn't work then ill go for the whole distributor ! How do you know if the igniter is bad when you pull it out ?

Well I just now got those links but got it done without them ! It was th ICM as you said and is now replaced and everything is working and running again. Just wish I had gotten on before I started replacing everything lol you have been a great help man
Great. Make sure you coated the back of the new ICM with heat transfer compound.
