She recently started working with me at a candy store. I'm nice so I was the first to start talking to her. We started play hitting each other, and we always help each other, and I started to like her but then she told me about her boyfriend. I felt sad, but said to myself I would still want to be friends so I continued to act the same around her. Co workers started saying we were flirting, and 1 of them called her (I didn't think they were really calling her) as a prank and said my name and hung up the phone. The next day at work she kept asking me about why they did that, and I tried hard to not tell her why because I would have to then tell her I liked her. So I did and she seemed OK with it. After that day though she started hugging me for no reason, (one time I hugged her and she pulled back into another one) tickles me, asking me to walk her to her car after work, and seems more playful with me. I was going to ask her to hang out as friends to see what she says, but that seems like a bad idea, what should I do?

I think this is a very lousy idea. For one you work together and that's very awkward to have a romantic partner at work. The main reason is she has a boyfriend, and just the fact she could flirt, and play around with you behind his back should tell you something about the female you are falling for.

What would you think of your girl if she did the same to a co-worker of hers? Even trying to hangout as friends, wouldn't work, because you are falling for her any way and spending time away from work will only open your nose more for a disaster later, so don't kid yourself with this friend idea.

You better keep your distance, an stop getting so carried away by the attraction of a cute female, that you can't see where this could lead, because while all you want is some love, and romance, it will complicate your job, and distract you from having common sense where she is concerned.

Face it, you already are very distracted, and haven't thought about a darn thing except she likes you, you like her, and you think it will lead to more and get even better. Sorry guy, it seldom does, just because she has a boyfriend to attend to, and you are but a casual diversion.

The way I see it, she is off limits, as she is already attached, and doesn't care about hurting your feelings, or those of her boyfriend. Worse, you are probably so smitten, you are taking her friendly nature as a green light to pursue more than just being a co worker, more than being a friend, and asking for a lot of trouble for yourself.

Wait for her.
