Mains water supply in my neighbours property.
I have just found out after having no water for 2 days that the mains water supply stopcock to my shop + flat is situated in my neighbours empty property - he lives in the one next to that and is unaffected. He has had a leak in the empty property and has turned the supply off leaving me with no water. He says he cannot afford a plumber to fix his leak and therefore cannot put the water back on? What should I do asIi cannot be without water for much longer and definitely need the supply to the shop for Monday as my business depends on it too? Thank you.

Call your local Building Department and tell them what you've told me, If he's withholding water to your property the city should make him correct it. My question is " Why is your water service on his property? Don't you have water meters in your area? Good luck, Tom
