I understand the greeting of "Salaam Alaykum" (May the Peace of God be with you), and that the correct response would be "Alaykum Salaam" (And with you too).

... but I'm learning now that a better response to "Alaykum Salaam" would be "Alaykum Salaam, wah RAHmat Allah wah Bar eh kah toh"

Is that right?

The guy (a Muslim from Iraq) who helped me with this wrote it this way:

Aleekum Alsalam wa rahmat Allah wa Barakato.

Can anyone who speaks good English and Arabic help me to pronounce it correctly?
