Upon inspection in the attic, I see the pilot light the flame inside the heater. The ceiling vent is extraordinarily hot but no heat is coming out through the room vents? What's up?

Is the blower working? If it is trying to start but turning very slowly or just humming, you probably have a bad start condenser, usually located on the motor or fan housing.
