Turn toilet a different direction, but over same hole (drain pipe)
My toilet faces the tub and there is barely enough room for someone to sit on it. I would like to keep the toilet in the same location but just turn it to face a different direction (towards the door) in which has a lot more room to actually sit on the toilet straight. This is a teeny tiny bathroom. House was built in the 30's... I guess pier and beam foundation. Definitely not on a slab foundation. Is this an easy fix since the toilet stays in the same location, but will face a different direction? Do pipes have to be moved? Would a handyman be able to do this... or should I can in a plumber? I don't think the toilet sits on the tile I think it butts up to the toilet. So there may have to be added tile.
