I have Maple Chase Thermostat that cuts the heater on then off about 2mins. Later.

The thermostate is about 17 year old. I can set it for the heater it will come on fire up then cut off about 2 minutes later and repeat this cycle. How do stop this so I can warm up my home. The furnace is fine it just does not stay on long enough heat the home. Help
