My best friend has a brother a year older then her. She always jokes around about how funny it would be if my and him went out! I always pretend that I hate him and I think he's ugly just so she doesn't get mad! I've liked him for a while now and I have never kept a secret from her this long its so hard! Just be honest with your friend. If you do or, don't date her brother you want to keep her as a friend and too many secrets big or, small can creep into a friendship and divide it. How old are you? Cause I must say it's really silly to pretend not to like someone who you like and who probably likes you! Lol So tell your friend that you haven't been totally honest with her... tell her you have valued her friendship and would let nothing come between the two of you. Tell her you have tried to hide and maybe even forget your feelings but you can't you like her brother. See how she feels about this ask her to be honest with you since you are being honest with her. Then if you have her blessing on to plan "B". MAKE YOUR MOVE! If she isn't comfortable with it then you need to step back and think about what is most important here your friend who will most likely always be here for you and has been in your life for sometime or, this guy who makes you melt... who may or, may not be around in the future and doesn't share your history. Be careful and be honest with everyone's feelings. I've been in this situation and others similar and how you say what you feel can be everything. In my opinion, you should just stay friends with him. If you started seeing him it would cut into your time with your best friend Kalie and would probably end that friendship.
