I recently replaced my pressure tank, which was a cast iron tank with a bladder tank. After doing so, I cannot seem to get the pressure in my system that I used to get. The pump has an adjustable screw on the housing next to the output, which I assume is a restriction valve. I do not know if I have this valve adjusted correctly since I adjusted it closed to restart the pump and forgot how many turns I had made! My pump is a 1/2 hp jet pump with 2 pipes into the well(I assume this is a deep well, I am not really sure). I used to be able to get about 50psi out of the pump, but now the best I can do is about 42psi. Could my pump be going? Or is the valve just not adjusted correctly? Any help would be great!
Thank you!
John
