I am an Australian born.. and naturalized US citizen.. living in the US with my American born wife.. when I reach retirement age next month will I be able to claim the single pension from Australia as it is much more than the married couple pension.. as my wife will not be able to claim an Australian pension we won't be claiming a married couple pension anyway.. so it would seem fair I can claim a single pension.. any advice would be helpful thank you...
