    Braeburn thermostat reads -AC
The air is not coming on and the thermostat reads -AC?

    KISS

The "-" may mean No and the AC may be no AC power.

This may suggest a tripped breaker, a blown fuse on the control board or a bad step down transfomer.

    For, now I'm guessing.
