Hello, i am 20 years old and was employed at a company for almost 2 years. I was shot while on my day off in both legs and could not walk. I spoke with my supervisor and he said i could take the time off that was needed and to keep him updated on my healing process. I called him at the end of my first week off and let him know i would need one more week (Total of 2 weeks off) then i'd be in. He had no porblem with it. I went in the following Monday, with my Hospital notes and Dr.s notes and he let me know that he had to let me go because the owners of the company were in and noticed i was out? I'm not sure what that had to do with my medical leave? But he let me go. Could this be a wrongful termination case?
