    any reason why i cant make some 12in X 8 in duct work from alumiun
    I need to add some return line to my 20 X 8... I like to add about 12 X 8... can I use alumiun..

    Sure you can but remember normal gauge aluminum is usually soft so it is a little more difficult to support and work with. On the other hand it is lighter in weight.
