So my mom thinks that "gay club kids" have this piercing. My dad is fine with me having an industrial, but my mom insists that "teachers will think I'm a shoplifter." She offered to let me get one cartilage piercing, but she is against a single bar through two holes in my ear. I am in no way exaggerating. I am 15 going on 16 in a couple months, and I am willing to pay for everything involved with getting this piercing. What else can I do to convince her to let me get it?

You could offer to do dishes and clean the house for a couple of months.
