I have a 91 honda accord that starts cutting out while under load like a hill or when the gas tank gets down to about 1/4 I've noticed the gas gauge seems to go down before it starts any ideas

. Ensure the spark plugs (NGK only) have been replaced in the last 3 years.

. Clean battery, cable connections, main ground and main ECM ground (located on thermostat housing). Ensure battery is fully charged, which most auto parts stores will do for free.

. Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil, if the problem persists:
