    New or Old?
So there's this guy that I'm really close with, and we both know that we have a REALLY strong connection. We talk easily together, and we both feel completely comfortable and happy when we're around each other. He and I both have thought about being together. The problem is he has a girlfriend that he has been going out with for about 2 years. He felt embarrassed when he told me that he likes me, and we both felt awful thinking about his girlfriend. I told him I would be fine with it if he didn't have a girlfriend, but I really like him and I wanted to just tell him that. We've become so close, but I don't want to ruin his relationship with his girlfriend. Is it my fault? Did I do the right thing? What do I do? HELP!!

Stay your sweet self and don't mention to him that you like him more than as a friend. Just continue to be his friend, and don't move in on his girlfriend.

Bottom line: what kind of person do you want to be?

As for him, if he really liked you, he should break up with his girlfriend and not lead her on. What does that say about him?

I agree with I Wish. What does it say about a guy when he says he likes someone else, but doesn't have the balls to 1) break it off with his current girlfriend, and 2) be up front and honest about it?

Let's say you two DID get together. He broke it off with his girlfriend, and now you and him are together. Then what? What happens when another girl comes up to him and starts talking to him? How would you react, and how would you feel?

She's wanting to hear what she wants to hear. I won't tell her to go for it. That's wrong. She knows it.

If he wanted you he would have finished with the g/f a long time ago, you're just filling in time keeping him occupied whilst the g/f is busy, if he wanted you he would be with you, he isn't so that's your answer, Don't try to alienate the affections of a boy who is already taken.

Why didn't you tell him that you're just friends, and nip this in the bud? Is this the older guy in your other post?
