In reading your answers on extending the length of a washing machine drain hose, you mentioned the use of a check valve. I could not see the image in your answer. I want to extend my hose down from the washing machine and then along the floor for about 15 feet into the drain. Right now it is one hose that loops above the water level and then down to the floor. Where should I place this check valve and what exactly does it look like.

Thanks for you help. This is my first time on the site. I thought I was responding to the right place but I goofed. The first thread was "Washing Machine Discharge Hose Length" and the 2nd question was "Washing Machine Drain Hose" both were answered by "speedball1" but I now see that they were under plumbing. Speedball mentioned an image of a "check valve" in his 2nd answer which is what I was enquiring about.
