Hampton Bay Redington III Fan UPC Code: 792145330493
As you probably know, this fan is remote control operated. My remote operated the lights and the fan blades in both directions. My only problem is that the blade speed is not responding. It's moving somewhere between slow and medium. Since the wireless receiver is picking up the signal what can I do to correct this?

Does this fan have pullchains?

Sadly, no pull chains. That would have been too easy.

Sounds like you will have to replace the receiver. Unless the receiver has only 5 wires, in which case there would also be a capacitor inside the fan that needs to be replaced.
