Maytag plus filter warning light will not go off when filter is replaced

Oh sugar, I think if that's the side by side you have to replace the board and power board on the dispenser. Before doing that though find the sequence for reseting the light. Could be 2 buttons together.

I would not blindly replace any part without testing it first. Sounds like you just need to reset it.
