How dangerous is a natural gas leak from copper piping under concrete outdoors
Gas Safe registered operative using meter detected Natural Gas Leak in copper piping under concrete in the outdoor common area . Warning of immediate danger issued but I am so far unaware of any corrective action takenby Landlord.Gas Hob in kitchen was condemned as leaking Carbon Monoxide (immediatly dangerous) 2006 but the corroded copper piping was only replaced in 2009 when a gas leak was traced to the piping connected to the Gas Meter .What is the liklehood of explosion or fire from the leak under concrete and is this problem likely in all the copper gas bearing piping under concrete

Please call the gas company providing the service to come inspect the leak.

ANY gas leak is dangerous. It accumulates in low lying areas, just waiting for ignition.

It doesn't rise, it flows DOWN like water would. It could find a basement nearby.

That's what happened to that shoe store in Puerto Rico.
