I have done one of these before with no problems
Now I am trying again in a different house much older and I can't get it to work

I have 2 bundles of wire coming out of wall
1st bundle a white and red only white was used on old thermostat
2nd bundle the normal white, red, yellow, green and a blue

My first mistake was I didn't cut power when removing old and I did get a spark. I checked breaker and wasn't triped but I rest it anyway

I hooked up as shown in manual execpt for blue because I didn't know where that one went.
I am getting nothing no fan or anything.
I hooked up red to red, why to yellow, g to green and w to white but did not hook up bundle 1

Any help would be great
