GFCI neutral bar/pigtail question for hot tub
I have a 240 volt hot tub (4 wire) and it's wired in a spa pack to a GE 50 AMP GFCI breaker. An electrician did the wiring and connected both the hot tub neutral and the gfci pigtail to the neutral bar instead of to the neutral of the gfci breaker. According to everything I've read here the GFCI should trip but it doesn't and the hot tub operates fine. Is it still protected? Is it fine to leave it this way? Thanks.

The GFI circuit breaker must have the load neutral connected to the neutral terminal on the breaker, or it will not operate properly.

Insist the electrician come back and fix it, for no charge.

Insist that he read and follow the manufacturers instructions for the breaker.
