    Troy bilt lawn mower troubleshooting
I havae a 2007 Troy Bilt Super Bronc with which I have many reoccuring problems. The latest and most reoccuring is the cable that engages the blades. I just replaced it again and now the blades won't turn. What is the fix?

The biggest problem I have with engaging the blades is that the linkage on the deck get rusted and very hard to move. Try removing the deck and work the linkage by hand, use a little lubricant (taking care not to get any on the pulleys or belts) and you should be able to free it up. Then the cable won't be working so hard to engage the blades.

This is just a solution to one possible problem.

Super Bronco Model 60TG, changed the drive belt but it is loose and won't engage when put into forward or reverse. Just heats up the belt and pully. Double checked the pully placement/belt according to diagram. Is there a spring that may have broken?
