Sounds like an allergy, what type of food are you feeding?
I've tried merrick, blue, natural choice lamb and rice and nutro ultra. I thought was an allergy until I had to clipped and could see fleas
Ok, well the thing with fleas is you have to treat everything. Do you have carpet? Have you washed the dogs beding and what not?
I always recommend Revolution. It kills all 3 stages of the fleas.
Sometimes it can take more than one treatment to kill all stages of the fleas. In the mean time I would invest in a flea comb, and give your pooch a warm bath in DAWN dish soap. Don't bother with the department store brand flea OR worm treatments.
I would say it is safe to give another dose of flea treatment, I would check with your vet to be on the safe side, and ask them about revolution or advantage.
No carpet , did dawn bath and comb out (I have 5 kids so they are helping). I will try a 2nd dose of treatment hopefully that will be it. Thanks
To treat fleas you have to treat the environment as well as the animal. This thread from the Pest Control board will give you better information on steps to take to get rid of them:

If you need/want more information on getting rid of fleas, just ask. :)
In stead of re applying the medication, bath him in cold water and use dawn dishsoap. Wash everything... his bed, your bed, blankets. Shampoo the carpets... spray the yard. Sounds like you have a flea infestation.
The cold water helps get rid of fleas. Dawn dishsoap won't was away the first application of medicine. You may want to contact your vet and ask if advises you to re apply more within the same month. Please remember, you are putting poison on your dog. Too much could cause a reaction.
Good luck
Don't give him a second dose yet!
You need to wait the full month before re-treating otherwise you are overdosing your dog.
Treat all carpets, skirting boards, cracks, bedding, EVERYWHERE.
I had fleas when we first moved into our new house and they did take about a month to completely eradicate.
It took 2 doses of medication on the dogs plus 2 treatments of the house.
Oops I deleted too far. It was supposed to say: I wouldn’t say it's safe to give another dose just yet.
Even though I have been reading that giving more than one dose isn't going to cause an over dose, but it also won't work any better than only giving one dose.
Also it seems like there is a bit of an issue with frontline these days, some vets are speculating that the fleas are becoming immune to the poison in it.
If Frontline is not working, I would try another brand. Advantage or Revolution are both excellent and fairly cheap.
I always use Advantage. Works for me ;)
