    infinity control check stactic pressure
Just installed Carrier Infinity 19 Seer with variable speed air handler 5 ton. Contractor said static pressure is .44. How do I check static pressure with the infinity thermostat and is .44 a good static pressure for this unit?

    KISS

The Infinity control won't let the SP get out of hand. It will reduce the speed of the motor thus lowering the static pressure.

It's really not the unit, it's the system. Primarily the ductwork.

At 1PM every day the system will turn on the fan at high speed for about 5 minutes. It's checking the change in static pressure since the air filter replacement indicator has been reset.

Set the fan speed to high and push ADVANCED until a menu appears (about 30 sec). One of the functions reads static pressure/CFM etc.
