    Weathermaker 8000 troubleshooting blower
Weathermaker 8000 control problem with blower - code #33

The IDM runs, the HSI glows, the GV operates and the burners fire up but then no blower start and eventually the furnace shuts down on overtemp.

I have run the test sequence and everything operates, even the blower at all speeds. I have checked all switches in the unenergized state and they are OK. I have checked all wiring and cleaned all automotive type connectors.

Blower will run in self test but will not run if I jumper terminal R to G (continuous run).

I called a service person and told him all this and he proceeded to change the motor until he realized that was not the problem, then said I needed a new controller for $600 and told me to call him if I wanted to do that.

Any other ideas before I have to go that route.

    Thanks

Sounds like the heat relay is out of the control board

Don't see anything on the schematic called a "heat relay" but took the cover off the board and can't see any sign of damage, no components missing and nothing lose. I can hear a relay pick up when I jumper R to G but no blower operation unless it is doing the test sequence.
