My 96 BMW 328is is having a weird problem. The car runs strong. But every time I come to a complete stop, when I push the gas pedal to go again the car stalls.the rpm rev up and after like a few seconds the car starts to go. The car is automatic. Even if I slow down to get a corner the car will rev up them stall for like 2 seconds then run again. Can someone tell me what could be wrong with it please?

These sites are arranged by specific model, so post your question in the E36 forum area (that's the code for the '96 3-series), and try to be more specific - does the engine actually stall (engine dies and you have to turn the key to get it staretd again), or does it just hesitate?
