Oh Im 18 years old and married. Ok I really need help at this point. Ok I was on the Birth control pill (YASMIN 28) for 3 years. I just stopped taking the pill a month 1/2 ago. Ok so I got my first period just a little bit early. 4 days early. So that period was heavy as usual. I got that period on the 10th of this month. Today is the 29th and I was not supposed to get my period until the 8th of December. Well today when I got home from a long drive I was standing in the Kitchen and felt something really warm. I checked my underwear and I had really red blood. It was pretty heavy which was really weird because I heard that implantation bleeding is supposed to be light. Its about 2 hours later and now the bleeding is kind of light. I just when to the batroom and there was basically nothing there. Im really confused and really really need some help here. I will not be able to go to the doctor until the 1st of January. And almost 2 weeks right after the last period I had really bad cramps especially after sex. I have minor cramps right now and I also have sore nipples. Im really confused about what my body is doing. But I really wan to know if I can be pregnant or miscarrying or if the pill just really messed my body up for a while. Please someone help. I don't have a doctor to talk to. I would really appreciate it if someone could answer me. Oh and I forgot another thing. For the past 2 days I thought I had a yeast infection. Hopefully that might help out more. A little while later I got more blood. I thought it was lighter but I guess not. Thank you...

First, lets start with this about implantation bleeding.

Next, let's go on the bright red blood. Bright red blood is a danger sign. It is a signal that something is wrong.

Third, you do not mention your age. This is VERY important for hormonal reasons. Hormones do not always settle down until about the age of 28.

It is possible that you miscarried prior to implantation. Read my post about implantation bleeding.

It is important you seek out medical advice in person rather than on the internet at this point. Is there a local health department in your area? Or a Planned Parenthood?
