    First what terminals and wire colors are used on your EXISTING thermostat?

    I have the following information in my thermostat

    TERMINALS COLORS

    RC RED
    R YELLOW
    Y GREEN
    C BLUE
    O/B W WHITE
    G ORANGE
    BROWN
    BLACK

    Could you help me with this please?

    What's the Focus Pro TH5?? Number that you actually have. 5000 is the series.

    I also need to know if you have a heat pump or a gas furnace.
    With a heat pump the outside unit runs in heat mode.

    I have been assuming that post #6 is your old thermostat. Of so, then the wires transfer directly. The jumper from R to Rc should be removed in your case. You don't appear to have aux/ backup/emergency heat

    O/B is the changeover valve. If the system heats in the cool mode and cools in the heat mode, then change parameter 2 of the thermostat.

    Are you comfortable with the setup options?
