    Honda error code p1381
I have a 99 Accord. Although the engine check lights are not on, I observed the car occasionally does not rev above 3000rpm. I ran the checks and got the error code- P1381. Please what parts do I need to change?

    P1381--Cylinder Position Sensor Intermittent Interruption

It may indicate that the Cylinder Position Sensor (CYP), which is located inside the distributor, is starting to fail. This sensor is not serviceable; therefore, I would replace the distributor housing with only a Honda genuine part. At AMHD, over 50% of new aftermarket distributors for Hondas have not worked. It's fine to use aftermarket igniters and coils in a Honda housing, in order to keep the cost down.

Thanks for swift response. Please any idea how much the distributor housing with Honda genuine part would cost and how I can get one?

I'm not sure what they run. Get the Honda part no. and search online for the best price.

Here's how to install it yourself:
