I have run out of propane and we are in the middel of a blizzard. How can I switch my furnace to emergency mode?

If you have a gas furnace,but have no gas, you in a heap of trouble, the furnace is your back up emergency heat sourse,when heat pump can`t do the job

The gas furnace is your emergency heat. Depends on what model you have if you can lock it in heat pump only.
