What is the code for stapling a wire after you staple from the electrical box

I assume you mean romex (NM cable).
If so then within 12" of any box or fitting.
If the box is a single gang non-metallic box without a clamp or grip then it is within 8" of that box.
Then 4-1/2' apart maximum.

That 12" is as measured along the wire. You can't have a big loop and then staple it. Around here they want a plastic insulator on the staple. Only two wires can go under a staple, If you have to fasten more use a cable stacker like 3M stak-it.
