    Hi,
If it has them (which has not been true for 20 years) and if I remember right, they are beneath a cover on the right front of the engine block beneath the blower housing. This would be on a vertical shaft engine.
If you happen to have points, then you will have to find and old B&S dealer to find the points and condenser (which are discontinued), put a Magnetron on the coil (which I do not necessarily recommend because of the age of all components) or install a new Magnetron armature, which I would say is the best option. The part #394891 should be readily available. By the time you pay for points, condenser and coil, you could have bought two of the newer ones.
    Peace,
    Clarke
