Red light blinks seven times,ignition lockout due to retries.. does the igniter burn out ? It does not glow as it does in normal operation or is it more technical

You can turn off power for a few seconds and back on to reset,, yes the igniter can and does burn out,, you usually can look it it and see a darkened /crack if you see that it needs replaced,, be careful they are fragile
