    Robert shaw thermostat eheat setting
We recently bought a home with a robert shaw 303 thermostat controlling our heat pump and air handler. We had a number of trades in doing some renos and I think they have adjusted the heat. I was leaving set as it was by the previous owner.
My concern is that when I look at the display, I don't know what the "eheat" setting should be. The red led on top is on quite a bit so I think the emergency heat is suppling heat rather than the heat pump. I don't know anything about this thermostat and have no manual. What should the "eheat" setting be? We would normally keep the home at 18-20 degrees celsius and the current setting for eheat is 10 degrees C.
    Any help is appreciated.

    T-Top

If your aux heat is kicking on at 10c=50f. You have a problem with your heat pump. The heat pump should not have a problem keeping up at that temp. On the other hand if you play with the thermostat turning it up and down its easy to bring on the aux. heat.
