write the balanced chemical equation that occurs when metallic zinc reacts with sulphuric acid?
Zinc reacts with sulfuric acid to form hydrogen and zinc sulfate.
Zinc = Zn
Sulfuric acid = H2SO4
Hydrogen = H2
Zinc Sulfate = ZnSO4
(you can Google any of these).
Now you simply write the equation and balance it. Can you do that? Hint: It's trivial.
