When you opened this forum to post this question, did you happen to notice the Read First sticky that deals with this very subject?

Go back and read it and if you still have any specific questions feel free to ask

First normally you can't just sign over your rights, unless the other parent has a new partner willing to adopt.

If the child is adopted by a step parent, then any new child support stops, but any back support has to be paid.

If, ( and it almost never happens) you can sign over your rights, yes you still pay support
