    Honda accord stalling
I have a 1990 accord and its just started stalling on us after about 15 minutes of driving and then leaving us stranded for about 20 minutes, and then it will run fine again for about another 20 or so. It's a four cylynder and I was just wondering if there is a particular problem these cars tend to get? Thanks in advance... Art

    Evening BB

    Is it petrol?

My first thought are the head gasket or head has gone and is heating up the water, the engine gets too hot, which activates the ECU to shut the engine off

Once it has cooled, the engine can be started again

If the head does have problem, ltake off the oil cap on top of the engine and view the oil

If it has water in the oil you will see a white milky residue, it is what we call mayonaise in this country

    Let me know
