In most states if you are still married when the child is born, the husband becomes the legal father unless listed otherwise. You got bad advice and now need to go to court to get an order to change the BC.

Still have to go to court. A BC is a legal document which usually requires a court order to change

Talk to a family law attorney.

That will probably get you further.

OK, even if you did not list your husband at at that time, in most ( at least many) US states, the husband will legally still be considered the father just because you are married, even if you don't list him.

Next the bith father can not just be added without going to court and proving he is the father.
