Amp capacity for awg # 6 copper wire
I am replacing a standby generator. The wiring to the house is AWG #6 copper, THHN. The disconnects at both ends are 75 degree rated terminals. 240 1 phase

What maximum size generator can I use ?

    Thanks

#6 THHN is good for 65 amps at 100% loading. This can be delivered by a 15,600 watt genset.
