Transitional stage of a hair
Hello,
I am a college student that went to school with hair past my shoulders but now it is chin length. Every stylist, that I have went to has cut my hair when I asked to trim it. I have stopped relaxing my hair over a year ago, to help it grow faster. I began pressing it instead But my hair is not growing back. I have had this same hair stylist for the past 7 months and she is pretty mediocre. I am starting to wonder if she is more concerned about making money than helping my hair to grow. I discussed my hair concerns with my stylist but I am not sure if she is listening.I get my hair trimmed and washed regularly. Last week, she asked me if we can cut my hair into a style. I am reluctant to cut my hair anymore because I want length again. My hair type is btwn thick&thin and to looks very soft. I just want hair healthy and long again. I am wondering if I should braid my hair or what? I do not want to continue to have people "play" in my hair or keep trying different hair products either. What should I do? I tried to take care of my natural by myself but It started to break off. I have also, searched many sites for ways grow african american hair as well as read books. I know that once my hair starts growing, it grows as fast as weeds. Any suggestions?
