Out KENMORE ELITE HE3 doesn't heat. ANyone know why, and what we can troublesoot before having to pay Sears OUTLANDISH charges?

If Electric, check out this troubleshooting thread. If you tell us what you've done and what you're capable of doing (do you have a volt-ohm meter, for example), we can talk you through some of it.

It may be that the heating element has burned out and needs to be replaced.

Cleaned out the vent and hose, shortened it to eliminate hard bends and excess, and the heat returned... now dries as it used to... the heating element is fine, checked with ohm-meter and continuity is fine. Thanks for the input

No heat is coming out.

I have an HE3 and am having the problem of the dryer not drying. I have cleaned out all exhausts. And sill no improvements. Need help in fixing.
On another note the HE3 washer smells and can not find the problem.
