    No heat.
    I have a Maytag Neptune gas dryer model#MDG9800AWW. The igniter comes comes on and there is a flame for about a minute and then goes out.

    It could be the operating or safety thermostat kicking out. You will need the proper tools and know how to use them to do the repair.
