LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE PLEASE...


I just received a summons from american express... requesting a full amt and my paying for attorney's fees.

The amt of the debt is $6,286.56... I do not have this kind of money. I had hired a Negotiation company to handle my debt.. but no long are using them.

How and what can I do to avoid having to go to court which is in RENO, Nv and I am in LV.. and working...

I need to respond to them within 20 days...

PLEASE HELP... This is very discouraging...

Is this your debt? Do you owe the money? What is your defense?

You can enter a defense if you have one, including that the Statute has run if that is the case, but if it is not a legitimate defense you cannot stop a Judgment.

They may settle for a limp sum if you can somehow raise the money.
