Sometimes a bit of galvanic corrosion can make a connection tenuous. Next, look for the little rubber covered block about 1/2" square by 1 1/2" longOpen it up. There is the funniest looking fuse you ever saw in there. It is an unusual piece of metal fastened at each end by Phillips screws. If burned in two replace; the grooves in the fuse for the screws turn in different directions. You only have to loosen the screws, place the length-wise slot beneath a screw with the fuse 45 degrees from lined up and rotate the other end so its slot slides beneath its screw. It would be obvious what I am describing sight seen.
Try those thing first. I have seen the unplug trick work more than once. There is a "brain box" around there. It is expensive and a last resort.
