    Implantation Bleeding?
I am ALWAYS a 28 day cycle and my period ALWAYS lasts 6 days. The first day of my last cycle was 9/2/06 and I had sex on the 17th, 18th and 19th of Sept. On Sept.24 I had a weird brown color of spotting, the 25th was a bit heavier but not normal period heaviness, then the 26th and 27th VERY light pink color. Today is the 28th and I no longer have my period. So I had light bleeding for 4 days. Can I be pregnant or did I strangely have a weird early light period?

Please read this about implantation bleeding.

You do not mention your age or what kind of birth control you use if any. This is very important.

However, if you are rather young, say younger than 25, I would venture to guess that this is just an irregular period.

When was your period due? That is another question we should look at now.

Again, chances are though that is was an irregular period. We all go through them at least once or twice.

Okay, so it came 4 days early. I understand you are regular, but sometimes this happens.

You are past the age of 25, but barely (lucky you LOL) so it could still be hormonal in nature.

You are not using birth control so I assume you are trying to get pregnant? There are tips and tricks to help if that is the case.

If not, is there a reason you are not using birth control? Just curious.

Actually I was six days early. I'm not trying to get pregnant as my husband and I have used the withdrawal method for 4 years now with success. We had sex without him withdrawing on one of those 3 days mentioned in my first post. This period has just been very different since all my periods normally start very heavy and this one started with very light brown spotting. I normally only have cramping for the first day of my period and this time I am still having cramping. It may be stress related but I just wanted to ease my mind a bit until enough time has passed to go get a test.

Yes, it very well could be stress related.

Now, for the withdrawal method. Bad Girl!! You have just been lucy that is all. The withdrawal method is not to be considered a form of birth control in any way shape or form whatsoever.

Let me put it to you this way. When a man becomes erect and there is a teeny tiny drop of lubricating fluid on the tip of the penis. This teeny tiny drop of fluid is called pre-ejaculate. It is meant to help lubricate the penis prior to ejaculation as well as lubrication for entrance into the vaginal canal. This pre-ejaculate contains millions of sperm. I mean MILLIONS!

Therefore, this is not birth control, just pure luck.
