This past weekend, I installed a new dishwasher in my kitchen. To do this, I had to turn the hot water off under the sink. I completed the task successfully - - no leaks, dishwasher working properly. However, now the water is barely trickling out of the faucet in my sink. Not only the hot water - - but the cold water as well. Which is odd, since I never shut off the cold water under the sink.
The water is running at full pressure in all other faucets in the house, and is running in the dishwasher (hot water from under the sink) and the ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator (cold water from under the sink). I've checked under the applicances, and there's no water leaking anywhere.
Why did my water pressure in my kitchen faucet suddenly disappear? What should I be checking that I haven't already looked at? Everything was fine prior to the install, and now we have a virtually unusable kitchen faucet.
