95 Honda Civic dies while driving after warming up.
I recently bought a 95 Honda Civic with 200K miles on it. The car ran great for about 3 days, then the idle began acting up while I was sitting in it with the heater on (turning off/on the heater does not affect the issue). This idle problem lasted one day, then the vehicle began to die while driving. This only occurs once the vehicle is warmed up. While traveling down the road at a steady speed, the engine will lose power and the RPM gauge will steadily fall until it reaches zero, then the oil pressure and battery lights will come on. I can usually restart the car why it is still rolling, but will continue to have the same issue for several minutes, with the car dying as I try to accelerate. When the engine loses power, if I pump the gas while the vehicle is in gear, it will cause it to backfire. A few times when the vehicle died I heard a "farting sound" coming from the driver side of the engine. When the car is acting up, if I put it in neutral (or press the clutch) it revs fine.
