I think everyone has the same problem in that regard, and we have different approaches to deal with our negative thoughts, either try to focus on something positive, dig deep what the cause really is, or just ignore it and pretend there's nothing wrong.
You can try meditation as well, it helps you focus much much better.

Hi first of all you need to talk to a professional to undergo analysis of your negative thoughts. You must rule out clinical depression.
There are talking therapies like cognitive behavior therapy would be helpful to change your negative thoughts.good luck.
